Township Building sign

There is a pet peeve of mine concerning the township, which may seem rather minor.
It is the Township Building sign in front of the building. It is a mess. The lettering is mostly missing and the whole thing should have been replaced years ago.
In the past, on more than one occassion, I have brought this to the attention of the Supervisors who discuss it some and somehow it falls off the radar.
Basically it is a matter of cost to replace the sign. Once again with the budget being worked on I will again broach the topic.
I wonder if anyone in the township knows a Boy Scout who is in need of a project, or even a school student. I'm sure we could garner donations for materials, etc. We do not need anything fancy. Just paint the poles, get the lettering replaced and upgrade the information.
It really bugs me everytime I drive past the building and see that shabby sign hanging there. It is an embarrassment to all of us who live here, especially as it is on such a busy road.

I agree with you Dave the sign looks sad.  
I remember looking at it in the past to see what the office hours and meeting times were but it was hard to read.  Fortunately, we have that information on this website but I think the sign should be fixed or removed because it looks bad.
