The Newton Township Board of Supervisors is looking into putting together an advisory committee in regards to proposed gas drilling.  This committee will serve as an advisory committee to the Board of Supervisors.  This committee will consist of residents of Newton Township, both pro and con concerning proposed gas drilling.  Anyone interested in participating on this committee is encouraged to contact the Municipal Office at (570)587-1520.
