Hardaway for State Rep.

Cathy Hardaway is continuing her run for the Republican nomination for State Rp. here in the 114. Despite her set back regarding petitions she is continuing with a write in campaign.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering, even a few hours, can do so by contacting me as to when the meetings are. Email me at politicalgadfly@aol.com and put Hardaway in the subject.
Currently we are seeking space for a campaign headquarters here in the Abingtons When it is in place I will post the info here.

The write in campaign will be easier to accomplish with the new touch screen machines. Instead of trying to lift a slot and write on an awkward angle in asmall space you will simply hit an icon on the machines screen. Then a keyboard will appear on the screen and you simply hit the keys to spell the candidiates name.
There will be plenty of people on hand at the polls to answer any questions regarding the use of the new machines.

Cathy will not be pursuing the Republican nomination as a write-in. She has decided to drop out of the race.
Instead when that position on the ballot apperas on the screen it will have the banner telling you the position and probably the keyboard to do a write-in. At the very least the icon for a write in will be there. It's up to the individual to write ina  name of a qualifoed person if they choose. No one is under any obligation to do so and they can simply move on to the next position.
