Just a question for now. I am curious as to how other residents/taxpayers make out with a right to know request when submitted to the six wisemen of newton township????

Hi WCJR,
Could you provide some more details? Not specific, but baiscally what type of info were you looking for, who did you ask and what was the response?
I have never really had a problem with obtaining info from the township.
It may take a awhile to get the particular documents, etc., together but I have never been denied any request.
If I can help I surely will.

There were some interesting articles in the Scranton Times this morning about the 'right to know'. It seems to be a universal thing with local governments across Pennsylvania.
