I would like to see (any) speed traps on Falls Rd. or Newton Ransom Bvd.  Speeding and tailgating run ramped on this streets.  If you don't go 10mph over the posted speed limit cars want to run you off the road.  The only radar gun I've seen was at the trailer park near the end of Newton Ransom Bvd.  I'm not a cop but there are at least 50 other better spots I could hide to get speeders.  Heck, if we ticketed all the bad driving here our taxes would go down.

Another factor regarding people driving insanely on Newton Roads is that just about no one stops for the STOP sign when exiting the Middle School.  All those soccer moms (and some dads) all seem to be in a hurry to get some place and just zip through.  Some down even bother to slow down.  Fine example to set for the children in the soccer vans and cars.

So here is a money maker idea for Newton.  Install one of those camera enforcement systems at the middle school exit and the money will roll in to the township.  People running the stop sign will get their license plate and drivers side picture taken.  Mail them the ticket.  Open and shut case.  More importantly, it may save a life someday because sooner or later there is going to be an accident there and worse, a young child may die.

Of course, a real traffic signal there would be a better solution but that will take someone dying first in a horrific crash.
