ok heres the deal.

i dont live in newton at all. buttt....

The word of a public skate park is roaming the streets a lot these days.. but were? the word is that it will be in newton. well i dont personaly have a problom butt. I do think that it should be in clarksummit area.
REASONS.
1.most of the heavy skateing that is "destroying" our town is going on there..
2.they cant expect the younger to be able to walk all the way down there.
3. clarks summit cops shouldnt be able to use the skatepark as an ecuse to yell at us and take our skateboards away, when its to far to get too.
4.almost all of the skaters in newton come to clarks summit anyways to skate then whats the difference in rides.??

The proposed location is next to the Newton Township Municipal Building which is close to Clarks Summit.

I am not sure as to what is happening with the skate park.  Its been an on again off again affair in Newton for a long time.


If it happens, it may be an excellent location for young people to get together and show their skills.
