Newton Township now has for the first time an officially recognized kickboxing team, the Newton Fighters Society. The USKBA(www.uskba.com) has invited two of it's fighters, Matt Suwak and Neil Rosencrance, to the 2004 King of San Da Tournament in New Jersey. More info relative to the team will be updated in this post from time to time.

Update 11/08/04
      2004 King of San Da tournament wasn't attended by the fighters because of unforeseen travel problems. However, it is definite that Matt Suwak and Neil Rosencrance will be fighting in the June 2005 Arnold Battle of Columbus, and also the July 2005 Born To Fight tournament, hosted by San Shou sensation Cung Le.

      The ABOC will take place in Columbus, Ohio, and will have no official ranking.
      The BTF: 5 is hosted in California, and is a fight officially recognized by the IKF (http://www.ikfkickboxing.com). This means that the fighters will be officially ranked across the country and recognized by any organization. This is the fighter's first officially ranked tournament, and the team is looking forward to bringing some victories home to Newton!

Possible fight in the month of January 2005 taking place in Atlantic City, New Jersey. More info as I get it.
