just wondering about newton twp rules pertaining to putting a cedar fence in my yard. Do i need permits? is there a limit as to the height of the fence? only looking to up a 50 ft section in the back to keep my neighbors dogs from barking at me on my patio 24 hrs a day. if anyone knows i'd appreciate a heads up...don't want to start working and find out i did something wrong. thanks.

You do ot need a permit if the fence is six feet or less in height and on the sides or back of the property in  a residential area.
