Cardboard recycling at Township bldg?

South Abington Township has had a cardboard recycling drop off station behind the fire hall for several years now. I have dropped cardboard off there many times and have now learned to scout the bin before taking a load as it has become so popular that the bin is often full.

My question is, would the people of Newton support a similar drop off bin at the township building?
In SA it's Mascaro, the same company that serves Newton, that maintains the bin. I believe SA makes money on the deal, but even if they don't it's still a good thing in my opinion.

This idea was originally proposed by the Supervisor Shaffer years ago but was never implimented. I would be willing to bring it before the Supervisors at a future meeting but would like community imput to bolster the idea first.
Thanks,
David

We take cardboard and other recyclables to the county center in Throop, approximately monthly.  If there were facilities in Newton we would probably use them.
